 Rob Braide is President of Braide Media, a multi-media consulting company based in Montreal. Born April 4, 1953, He wanted to get into radio the first time he heard Dave Boxer play the Beatles on CFOX in 1963. His parents were huge jazz fans and he grew up listening to Theloneous Monk, Art Blakey and Charlie Parker. After going through high school and CEGEP in Montreal, where he has lived all of his life, he spent five (5) years at Carleton University studying electronic and computer composition at Carleton’s faculty of Music. Hindley, James D., Chairman
 Jim Hindley has been one of the two longest serving members of the Cedars Board. A good friend of Joe Chamandy, Jim was active on the Board for many years before he became President. During his tenure, he spearheaded the task force to study oncology projects at the hospital, which contributed to a new model for oncology at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Under Jim, the Cedars Golf Tournament was launched. He served as its Chair and mentor for 27 years bringing the golf tournament to monumental heights. Jones, Dr. Oliver T.
 Oliver Jones was born and raised in Saint Henri, a predominantly working class area of Montreal, several blocks from Peterson, and young Oliver would sit on the Peterson porch, listening to the older boy practice. Oscar's sister, Daisy Peterson Sweeney, became his first piano teacher, with lessons continuing for the next twelve years. These lessons solidified young Jones' skills, which were already considerable; Oliver was performing publicly at age five, and by the time he had his first nightclub appearance, he was nine.
